The Millcreek Shed Kit is a perfect choice for adding extra storage to any backyard. With it's traditional barn style appeal and additional loft storage you'll have plenty of space and many years of use out of this wooden shed kit.

The 7'-3" high side walls provide plenty of head room for generous storage. Featuring an overhead loft floor on each end of the shed you have easy access from a 4' opening in the center. Additional access to the loft is provided by a 42"x34" loft door.

Once you receive your new building begin by unpacking the pre-cut framing, doors and hardware. You will also receive a detailed manual with step by step instructions. Each step is explained with clear instructions and detailed line art and has been developed with the novice builder in mind.
Following the manual you will be directed to cut the siding material for application to the wall frames. This step is made extraordinarily easy because the pre-cut walls are used as a template, once assembled, prior to cutting. Simply trace the outline of the wall and cut.
	Trusses come partially assembled with pre-cut gussets to ensure proper alignment during the assembly proccess. Roof trusses are designed to meet heavy snow loads of 45 lbs. psf and 90 mph wind loads. High wind trusses are available and will increase the wind load to 130 mph. Simpson hurricane hangers are included when you order the optional "High Wind Trusses" above.
	Once wall and gable assembly is complete you are ready to begin assembly and placement of trusses. Because the trusses come partially assembled and the gussets are mitered and cut for you assembly is a snap. Apply sheathing and shingles. Get a friend to help and you'll be done in no time!
Our pre-built door trim insures that you will finish with a professional look when your barn raising is complete. Powder coated door hardware is included with your kit and the manual gives detailed instructions on how to hang each door.
	Install the pre-cut trim to complete your barn raising. We've done the hard work for you so you will be assured of a professional finish.
Roof shingles are not included and purchased locally by owner

Siding

Primed 3/8" wood siding, with vertical grooves, creates an attractive plank look.

Smart Panel, manufactured by Lousiana-Pacific, creates the visual beauty of real wood with the strength and durability of an engineered product.

The siding is made from wood strands, pressed into a resin saturated substrate, superior to plywood. A cedar texture is embossed into the substrate, free from knot holes and patches. Other features include:

Primed, ready for paint color of your choice. Latex acrylic paint recommended.
Treated with Composibor (from U.S. Borax) prevents fungal decay and insect damage.
Backed with a 50 year limited warranty.

Optional Item

Single hung windows with screens & decorative wood shutters. 

Single hung windows 18" x 27" aluminum windows provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit birds and insects. Decorative wood shutters are pre-assembled.

Loft

The Millcreek's unique truss design provides a 2nd floor loft for additional storage space. A 4' opening is provided to allow access to on either end of the Millcreek's second floor.

 Optional Floor

Our wood floor systems offer two designs that let you choose what is best suited for your needs.

The standard floor is best installed over and existing foundation, cement slab, blacktop or gravel base. Bricks or patio stones can be used to level the 2x4 treated framing. The standard floor includes treated 2x4's 16" o.c. and 5/8" OSB ( Oriented Strand Board ).

The deluxe floor includes 4x4 treated runners which gives support for the floor joists and allows you to set the foundation directly on grass. By raising the foundation above the ground the 4x4's provide for air flow which eliminates moisture. The deluxe floor includes 4x4 treated runners, treated 2x4's 16" o.c. and 3/4" plywood.

Nails are included. Floor requires cutting and assembly. Floor sheathing is not treated.

Optional Pre-cut Treated Wood Ramp

Choose an optional pre-cut treated wood ramp system to match your building. This option is designed so that when you purchase our Wood Floor you can correctly match the height of you new sheds floor.
